Bruges offers enchanting canals, medieval architecture, and unforgettable cultural experiences.
Enchanting Canals Bruges is often referred to as the "Venice of the North." A network of picturesque canals weave their way across the city. The waterways offer a glorious perspective of the city; reflections of gabled houses, historic buildings and medieval bridges are mirrored in the rippling water. A boat tour is an absolute must. You can gently sail through the city's enchanting history and experience Bruges' beauty and elegance from a unique angle. Medieval Architecture Experiencing Bruges feels like stepping back in time. The perfectly preserved medieval architecture transports you to a different world. From the towering Belfry of Bruges to the intricate facades of the Markt, the city boasts an array of architectural wonders. The cobblestone streets lead to hidden courtyards and historic churches, inviting travelers to explore and uncover centuries of history. Chocolate and Cultural Delights Did someone say 'chocolate'? No trip to Bruges is complete without tasting its world-renowned chocolate. The city is veritably awash with artisanal chocolatiers offering everything from pralines to truffles. The choco-holics dream is complete with its very own Chocolate Museum! each a testament to Bruges' sweet legacy. Beyond chocolate, Bruges thrives with cultural experiences, from its lively festivals to the inspiring Groeningemuseum, showcasing Flemish art masterpieces. Every corner of the city offers a story waiting to be discovered.
Greek, Roman and medieval architecture. Narrow streets filled with churches, palaces and ancient ruins. Medieval castles, an ancient Roman fortress, a grand public square, Royal Palace and the Duomo. There are also networks of tunnels and caves beneath the city.
Located on the southeast coast of the Italian Peninsula, Naples overlooks the sea with Mount Vesuvius in the background. The Bay of Naples and the Amalfi coast are breathtaking.
We will place ourselves in the hands of those who live, eat and sleep Naples. All our guides have an intimate local knowledge and will introduce you to the tastes, the sounds, the smells which lie at the beating heart of thsi fabulous city.
From the moment you arrive in Naples, Teresa and Rob will guide you to our hotel, make sure you are prepared and ready for the delights which lie ahead and be with you all the way until it is time to leave.
The itinerary provides an outline of the experiences we are offering across the duration of your visit to Naples. Additional activities can be booked (see below) or, if there is something you would particularly like to see or do, drop us a line
Walking tour of the city with Street Food experiences – including Piazza Bellini, Via Dei Tribunali, Spaccanapoli and the Museo del Conservatorio. Along the way, we will also stop to look at selected Street Art locations as we find our way around the city.
Free time in the city to explore, then we’ll head down to the bay for dinner.
For the adventurous among you, there is the possibility of an optional tour of Subterranean Naples to include the Greek-Roman aqueduct & tunnels, the Roman Theatre, the Tufello Wine caves and the Hypo-Geum Gardens. Please note: there will be an additional fee chargeable for this tour
Dinner at Zi Teresa started with young Teresa who, with her mother, cooked food for her father and other fisherman in the late 19 th century. Over the decades she and her cooking rose to fame, eventually being featured in the NY Times and boasting clientele such as Sophia Loren, Greta Barbo, Toscanini and many more.

Today we’re off for a visit to the ancient city of Pompeii where a professional historian/ archaeologist will guide us through the ruins. You’ll see where the artefacts you saw at the museum came from, and you’ll learn all about the history of the city itself, all about Ancient Rome, and details of the intervening centuries.
The afternoon is free time, to explore Naples, take a coffee or have a drink.
Dinner will be an adventure in which we will visit with a local chef and have a cooking class of traditional Napolitano food. We will eat what we cook!.

Then we are off to visit to stupendous Reggia di Caserta with a private car and guide. Reggia di Caserta was built to rival Versailles in both size and spectacle, and it succeeds. The day will be spent exploring the palazzo and gardens.
The afternoon is free time to explore the city of Naples.
Dinner will be at the nearby rustic La Taverna, a local restaurant with delicious, more traditional dishes.Up for coffee and croissants in the nearby Piazza San Domenico
Naples National Archaeological Museum. Here we’ll explore classical art and sculpture, and see the largest collection of mosaics, sculpture, pottery and oil lamps from the nearby ancient city of Pompeii. And we’ll be sure to visit the Secret Room!
Airport drop off and farewells in the afternoon/early evening.
